Environmental Mold Specialists, L.L.C., was formed in 2005 via a partnership between Rick Curley, of Northside Contractors, and Joe Norton, of Norcon Environmental. Rick provides 22 years of real estate management and contracting experience, in the areas of construction, demolition, and remodeling. Joe brings 25 years of environmental testing and consulting experience, with emphasis on indoor air quality investigations. |

JOE NORTON Joe Norton is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in construction, energy management, industrial health and safety, and remediation. As President of Norcon Environmental, Joe has 25 years experience in environmental investigations and contracting. Expert in the field of indoor air quality. Joe is trained in Hazardous Materials Emergency Response, as well as Air Sampling for Hazardous Materials through the NJDEP and USEPA: Assessing & Controlling Microbial Contamination in Buildings , Cook College, Rutgers University, June 2005 NJ State Police, Office of Emergency Management, NJ Certified Hazardous Material Technician, competent in Confined Space Entry, 80 hr.; 9/92. USEPA Air Surveillance for Hazardous Materials, (cert. 165.4) 24 hrs; 12/91. USEPA Hazardous Materials Incident Response Operations (cert. 165.5) 40 hrs; 8/91. | RICK CURLEY Rick brings over 22 years of experience managing, marketing and renovating properties including 8 years as a real estate agent. Rick has been the President and Owner of North Side Contractors Inc. and Superior Disposal Inc. for the past 12 years. Rick has extensive experience at coordination of all construction phases from demolition to mold remediation to complete renovation. Rick currently handles customer relations while maintaining a "hands on" approach to the actual repairs. He personally visits all work sites and oversees all aspects of each project. Rick has skill in all phases of construction including painting, ceramic tile, plumbing, electric, framing, drywall, roofing, siding and carpentry. Now as one of the owners of Enviromental Mold Specialists, LLC this prior experience helps in understanding the customer’s needs and filling these needs in a timely and professional fashion. |
